Peer Review Process

The manuscripts are peer reviewed before publication in the journal. Experts from the relevant disciplines will assess the manuscript for originality, validity and the significance to help The Editorial Board decide whether the article is suitable for publication. On receipt of an article for publication the editor assesses it for the criteria required for submission. Thereafter it is sent to two reviewers for their determination. The editor uses a double-blind peer-review policy. The names of authors are not known to the peer reviewer. Just as the reviewers’ names are also concealed from one another.

The reviewer’s decision will be considered by the editorial board and if revisions are necessary the author is informed of such decision. The revised manuscript will be forwarded to the same reviewers for their final determination. Based on this decision, the Editorial Board will decide on the suitability of the article for publication. The average time taken for this process is 3 to 6 months from receipt of the manuscript.
